How I can help
Many of my clients come in feeling pain or tension, tight or restricted in their body, dealing with scar tissue, or feeling heavy, swollen, or inflamed — often not moving or feeling the way they used to.

Each treatment is tailored to you and may change from session to session, in consultation with you and how you’re feeling.

My story

We all have a journey — this is part of mine.

A turning point for me was my breast cancer diagnosis and the treatment that followed.
After surgery, chemotherapy, and radiation, I began to experience ongoing pain and the effects of scar tissue.

Experiencing this led me to understand the body more deeply and help others going through something similar.
That’s where things really shifted. What made the biggest difference was Fascial Counterstrain and lymphatic work — and this continues to shape how I treat today.

What you can expect

My approach is gentle and designed to work with your body — not against it.

The aim isn’t just temporary relief, but helping you feel more comfortable in your body, move more freely, reduce pain, tension, inflammation or heaviness, support recovery including areas affected by scar tissue, and leave feeling lighter and more at ease.

Understanding the techniques I use

Many clients tell me they’re not quite sure what these techniques mean — so here’s a simple explanation of some of the techniques I use. I continue to build on these through ongoing training, so your treatment may include other approaches depending on what feels right for you.

Fascial Counterstrain

This work has developed from the original osteopathic research of Dr Lawrence Jones and has been further expanded by physical therapist Brian Tuckey.

It is a technique that has made a significant difference in my own recovery, I continue to build on this work through ongoing training and study with instructors travelling from the USA to Australia, allowing me to work with more complex patterns in the body.

Fascial Counterstrain is a gentle, hands-on approach that works with the body’s protective reflexes — which can become overactive after injury, surgery, inflammation, or ongoing stress and is often suitable even when the body is sensitive, inflamed, or difficult to treat.

These protective patterns don’t just affect muscles, they can influence multiple systems in the body, including the nervous system, lymphatic system, blood flow, and even organ-related tissues. The technique works by finding specific tender points and placing the body into comfortable, supported positions, allowing the body to switch off those protective responses rather than trying to force change, people often notice reduced tension and pain, improved movement, a decrease in swelling or congestion, and an overall sense of ease.

It can be helpful in a wide range of conditions, including persistent pain, post-surgical recovery, lymphatic congestion, areas affected by scar tissue, and inflammatory patterns in the body. This work can be done fully clothed, which can feel more comfortable depending on what is being treated.

Lymphatic Therapy (DLT & MLD)

Decongestive Lymphatic Therapy (DLT) is the gold-standard, non-invasive, multi-component treatment for managing lymphoedema and chronic swelling. It focuses on reducing swelling and supporting longer-term outcomes through a combination of lymphatic drainage, compression, movement, and self-care.

Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) is a gentle, rhythmic technique that helps the body move fluid more easily, supporting general wellbeing, reducing that heavy or sluggish feeling, and assisting before and after surgery with swelling, healing, and the early stages of scar tissue. It can also support the body in managing inflammation.

Both DLT and MLD can support conditions such as lymphoedema and lipedema, as well as fluid retention, post-surgical swelling, areas affected by scar tissue, and may help reduce inflammation and congestion within the tissues.

Myoskeletal Therapy
Myoskeletal Therapy, developed by Erik Dalton, is an integrative approach that focuses on relieving pain and improving how the body moves and functions. I am a certified Master Myoskeletal Therapist (MMT) through the Freedom From Pain Institute, and use these techniques to support better alignment, ease strain patterns, and help the body move in a more balanced and comfortable way.

It works with muscles, joints, and the nervous system to address underlying patterns of tension, helping improve posture, reduce discomfort, and support more efficient, natural movement.

Remedial Massage & Hot Stones
Used to soften tight tissue, improve circulation, and support relaxation, helping the body settle so it can respond more easily to treatment.

You don’t need to understand all of this — your treatment will always be guided by what feels right for you, in consultation with you.

A more integrative approach

Tracey’s Remedial Hot Stone Massage is evolving to reflect a more integrative approach, including advanced lymphatic and fascial therapies.

This allows for more personalised care, particularly for clients experiencing ongoing pain, post-surgical recovery, fluid-related conditions, inflammation, or scar tissue restriction.

What Other Says?

Tracey is a true professional and the best in her field. She is always researching the evidence to provide the most effective and up to date service for her clientele. I recently had an injury to my knee which caused considerable swelling and pain. Tracey has been providing me with Manual Lymphatic Drainage to my knee and body to assist the recovery. The results have been phenomenal! My swelling reduced tremendously overnight, I had less pain and increased range of motion. I had the MLD pre and post surgery and the proof is in the pudding. My knee has healed so quickly thanks to Tracey. In addition to this, she has kept the rest of my body in check and worked on the tension created by the assymetry of the inability to use one leg properly. I cannot recommend Tracey more highly!

Tracey was amazing. Her attention to detail and calm demeanour made me relaxed from the moment I met her. I walked out feeling so lose, relaxed and free from my aches and pains. I will be back. Highly recommend Tracey. Thank you 😊

I cannot recommend Tracey highly enough! A wonderful person as well as a fantastic professional. Her service is of the highest quality amongst a friendly and welcoming space. I've had years of remedial massage therapy for various sports based injuries and found the massage and recovery time itself just as painful as the injury. The use of Tracey's Hot Stones combined with the remedial therapeutic massage is finally the perfect combination I never knew I needed. She is fabulous - her knowledge and various forms of massage (to which she keeps adding) is helpful for all people, ages, bodies and injury or stressor. I even booked my husband in for a treatment to experience Tracey's service - he asked for a relaxing based massage and he fell asleep!! He was in a trance when he got home and slept like a baby that night. Tracey absolutely has a gift & I'm so grateful to have crossed paths with her. Each treatment I soak up the healing she offers to my body. Thank you Tracey! I wish you all the best as your service expands 🙂
